Power Walk in the city

Well, I haven't written anything for a week. That's not good.

Over the weekend, I went to the city with my friends and took a little tour. One of my friends that lives there showed us around.

We had a great lunch at a small diner in Mission and their ice cream was delicious!!!

Then, he showed us around in Mission, saw a bunch of Murals, walked to Buddist Center our friend goes, and to Castro.

On the way to Castro, we went into this little shop.

It had all kinds of different things, and some of them were very very ODD.

The worst thing was "Angelina the Ballerina" made with REAL stuffed mouse!

That was just weird.

But it was worth it, because I would have never been to that shop if he hadn't taken us there.

We also went into Mission Dolores Church.

Then, we went to Castro.

I always wanted to go there, but never had a chance, so it was great to have someone show us around.

As we get closer to Castro, we could see many fashionable people walking around.

We went there in the afternoon, but I bet it looks totally different if we go there in the evening.

We did our share of walking and one sprinting(to catch a bus) and some core work(try not to fall down on the bus) that day.

The dinner was great, too:)

Well, today is Tuesday, so I got up a little after 5AM and went running.

It was FREEZING!!!

I just might change the time to later during the day if no one shows up...

一週間書いてなかったです・・・。すみません。

先週末はサンフランシスコに遊びに行きました。

サンフランシスコに住んでる友達が市内を案内してくれるということで、友達3人とお邪魔。

お昼過ぎについて、Mission地区のダイナー（食堂？）みたいなとこでランチ。

どうやらホームメードのアイスが有名らしいということが判明し、シェイクを頼みました。

すっごくおいしかった！

そこからMission地区の壁画を見せてもらい、ぶらぶら歩いて友達の行ってる仏教センター（仏教徒なので）も見せてもらいました。なんか墨汁のにおいがして、懐かしかった。

途中、小さなお店に立ち寄りました。

何か、いろんな不思議なものがあったけど、一番すごかったのはAngelina the Ballerina（ねずみの女の子が主役でバレリーナの絵本です）がリアルミッキー（剥製）で作ってあったもの。

まじでびっくりしました。

確かに、自分では行かないお店だったけど・・・。

その後は『天使にラブソング』をの舞台になった教会に立ち寄り、カストロへ。

ここは、ご存知の方もいると思いますが、ゲイの街サンフランシスコの中でも、その文化がものすっごく濃く出てるエリア。ずっと行ってみたかったんです。でも、冷やかしに行くところじゃないって聞いてたし、今回、市内に住んでる人がいたからやっと行けてうれしかった。

そのエリア周辺になるとそういう方ももちろん増えますし、服のセンスがいい人激増！

そして、インテリアのお店とかもすっごくおしゃれ。カフェの店員さんもカワイイ人多い（ちなみに男性で）。

行ったのは午後だったんですが、夜行くとまた違う雰囲気出てそうな街でした。

この日は、サンフランシスコの街を歩き、バスに乗り遅れそうになりダッシュし、ありえないくらい荒い運転＋あの街独特の急勾配の坂に立ったまま耐えるべく、手すりを握って腕の筋肉を鍛えました。

その日の夜は友達が夕食を作ってくれ、みんなでごちそうに。おいしかったです。

今日は火曜日。朝5時過ぎに起きて、さとこと走ってきました。もちろん、他に参加者はなし。

しかもめっちゃ寒かった！

いっそのこと、時間を朝10時とかにしてしまおうかと思ってます・・・。誰も来ないならいいよね。
